If Wishes were Horses …

If wishes were horses then beggars would ride.  This week is about wish fulfillment.  What you put out there and work at becomes reality.  There is an old saying “be careful what you wish for, because you will receive exactly that.  Perhaps the Genie from Aladdins lamp is what what we wish for.  How many times have you wished for something and got it?  Surprised?  Try to remember your state of mind, your emotional attachment, the motivation and intent and what did you do to manifest the wish.

Become the master of your destiny.  Make a conscious choice. Act on it, TODAY!

I often say to my clients, what is it that you truly desire, wish for.  Most want the standard health, wealth and happiness. I then ask them what are they doing to bring about their wishes. Again most are not active in their own lives, they allow life to sweep them along.  We have the power to be, do and have whatever we desire.

Learning how to manage our thoughts is the tricky part.  Scientists have shown that highly creative people can generate big bursts of Alpha brain waves, balanced between left and right brain. Any time you have an insight or an inspiration, you know your brain just produced more Alpha waves than usual. Increased creativity is helpful for everyone. How do we do this? Meditation or simply silencing the internal chatter and allowing the brain a neutral state. Buddhists call it “the diamond mind”.

Visualisation is another great tool.  Whether it’s a vision board or simply a picture that represents the item, state of mind or being that you want to achieve.  I once had a client whose greatest wish was to meet former president Mandela.  I asked her how she was going to achieve this.  She said she didn’t know.

There is no purpose in having a dream or wish if you don’t know how to achieve it.  We limit ourselves by not thinking something through.  Visualisation is about “being in a perfect world”, there are no limitations. Quantum Physics teaches that nothing is fixed, that there are no limitations, that everything is vibrating Energy. By understanding that everything is Energy in a state of potential and by applying the Law of Attraction to bring into our lives what we focus on, it is not necessary to feel stuck with an undesirable life.

With our thoughts we transform this ever-changing Energy into the energy of our reality.

Start somewhere – using the mandela analogy, begin by volunteering at one of the Nelson Mandela charities.  Become active in the organisation. Get to know people who know Madiba. Attend functions he will be at. For every action there is a reaction, the more we invest in our hopes, dreams and ambitions, the greater the return.

The desired result is dependent on the quality of the practitioner … YOU!

The universe has infinite potential in infinite abundance.  When we focus our thoughts, we have the power to manifest our desires – in abundance.

Diamonds are enduring, an investment and are generally considered the everlasting symbol of love.  The name is derived from the Ancient Greek word ‘adama’ meaning invincible and untamed.

The Cullinan Diamond is the largest rough gem-quality diamond ever found, weighing 3,106.75 carats (621.35g). Frederick Wells, found the stone whilst on a routine inspection on the steep wall of the mine some eighteen feet below the surface of the earth. The diamond was named after Sir Thomas Cullinan the owner of the Premier Diamond Mine Company. The Cullinan was sold to the Transvaal government, which presented it to King Edward VII on his 66th birthday on November 9th, 1907.

Mr. Asscher of Asscher’s Diamond Co. in Amsterdam was entrusted to cut the stone and he studied the huge diamond for months in advance. On February 10th, 1908, he placed the steel cleaver’s blade in a previously prepared V-shaped groove and tapped it once with a heavy steel rod. The blade broke, but the diamond remained intact! The second time, it fell apart exactly as planned, and an employee at the factory reported that Mr. Asscher had fainted.

A second cleavage in the same direction produced three principal sections, which in turn would produce nine major gems, 96 smaller brilliants, and 9.50 carats of unpolished pieces. The nine larger stones remain either in the British Crown Jewels or in the personal possession of the British Royal Family. Rather apt card considering the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II this year.
